TRACK & TRACE
Do you want to trace your purchase? Please check the confirmation email that you received from us. Every purchase has its own personal track&trace code that you can fill in on the website of the delivery company. If you have any other questions about your purchase, please don’t hesitate to contact us at info@maeya-amsterdam.com.

You can return or exchange items up to 14 calendar days after receiving your original order. The product must be sent back in its original condition, including all labels attached. Please contact us at info@maeya-amsterdam.com if you would like to return your purchase.

Shipping fees are non-refundable and shipping costs for the return are for the customer. Final sale items with 50% discount or more cannot be returned or exchanged.

Returns should be shipped with a service that provides a tracking number, as MÆYA will not be held responsible for delayed or lost packages. Any returns that do not comply with the conditions stated above may be denied at the discretion of MÆYA. All goods will be inspected and the return shall be processed within 5 working days. We will contact you once the process is complete. It may take up to 7 working days for the funds to be credited into your bank account, PayPal address or credit card.

All our products are warranted for 6 months. The warranty covers material and manufacturing faults. We can not be held accountable for normal wear and tear or any damage if used incorrectly. Breakage, scratches and other damage caused by wearing are excluded.

The processing of fish leather is similar to that of exotic leather. It is essential, however, to take into account that in the handling of fish leather special care and attention is required, due to the possible frailty of the scales.

Please notice that due the natural process the leather can change. To take good care of your bag try using a protection and care leather spray at least once a month.

Facts about leather:

  • Leather is a natural product which means that every piece is unique. This also implies that there can be a difference in the structure of each piece of leather. This is what makes the product one of a kind.
  • Leather isn’t waterproof and therefore needs extra care. If you want to enjoy your bag as long as possible you need to moisturize your bag with a spray at least once a month.
  1. Does the product carry an odor?
    This is a question that comes to mind with many customers, however we can assure you; the leather does not smell of fish. Its odor is similar to that of suede.

    – We provide worldwide* shipping, for free!
    * China, Russia, Belarus and Mexico are the only four countries we cannot ship to.

    – We offer worldwide free shipping to all our customers*.
    *Keep in mind that our prices do not include customs fees or other additional taxes that might apply to customers in non-EU countries.
  7. What does VAT mean?
    – VAT is a value-added tax that both EU and non-EU customers pay.

  8. How do I track my order?
    Once your payment is finalized and your order has been processed, you will receive a Track&Trace code via mail with which you can track your order.
  9. How can I change or cancel my order?
    If you would like to change your order please make sure to contact us within 12 hours. Otherwise we can’t guarantee that your purchase can be changed or cancelled which means that you probably have to pay for the shipping costs.
  10. How can I return my order?
    In the package you have received a return form was included. This should be filled out and attached to the package. The package should then be delivered to a post office.
  11. Is it possible to order a product in advance if it’s sold out?
    If you fell in love with a bag that is recently sold out, please don’t hesitate to contact us at info@maeya-amsterdam.com. It is possible to place a pre-order.
  12. I have placed an order during the sale. Can I return my order?
    No. During a sale, when there are reduced prices, ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Orders cannot be returned, exchanged and/or refunded. If you have any questions, please contact: info@maeya-amsterdam.com.

  14. If my package get lost or get damaged caused by the delivery company. What do I have to do?
    If this should happen, please contact us and contact the delivery company. MÆYA is not responsible for loss or damage caused by PostNL, but we would obviously like to help you.
